Beachside Cottage

For those believing that 'Location, Location, Location' is
the most important asset of any property, 'Swn-y-Don' (Sound of
the Wave) must be the ideal beachside cottage.
It is located at Poppit Sands in the Pembrokeshire Coast National
Park at the southern end of Cardigan Bay - Britain's first Heritage
Coast and home for Bottle Nose dolphins.
Grid reference: Landranger 145 151486.
Uniquely positioned at the edge of an extensive, gently sloping,
sandy beach it provides spectacular views, whether it be the Teifi
estuary on the right, black rocks on the left or Cardigan Island
directly ahead. The beach is patrolled by a lifesaver during the

recent report by universities in Malta, Turkey and Wales concluded
that the beach at Poppit was one of the best five beaches in the
three countries.
